Thanks for your interest in my work.

A little about me...

I've been taking photos ever since my mum gave me a Box Brownie when I was eight and I didn't stop.

I got married to Karyn on the beach at sunset. It was a big day (and night). There were an awful lot of drunk people.

Our boy Ted is of course our world. He is a cracker. He plays the drums just like his dad. Loudly.

As far as my working week goes I mix it up a little really - during the week I photograph all sorts of people in the corporate world plus the aviation and defence sector and a lot of other exciting clients in wine and food and education.

I really like helicopters. I may be a planespotter if the truth is known.

I get to see and do some amazing things.

You will often find me roaming around with a film camera - one of my beloved Leica's documenting life as I find it.

This of course hones my 'seeing' - a photographers eye never stops learning to see and I am always looking.

Where do the weddings fit in?

Well, I've always shot weddings - I have been photographing weddings for around twenty years now - and I still love it.

I’m not a traditional wedding photographer, I am a photographer that documents weddings - and I take the responsibility very seriously.

My style is documentary, real, as it happens - and I get the shot without shooting 30 frames of the same thing.

People tell me that they feel relaxed, un-rushed and comfortable when I photograph them.  And importantly they are blown away with the result.

I have embraced a whole range of cultures and traditions, heard wonderful and heartbreaking stories, met amazing people and witnessed the funniest situations and even signed confidentiality agreements for the famous-types.

I really enjoy witnessing the day and my photographs reflect that.

They are with you forever to remind you of that day.

I look forward to telling your story,
